This offering is without a doubt a world class property. Adding to that fact the world class location here in the Osa Peninsula and you have something that is truly one of a kind. Like the Mona Lisa of nature. There is no other to compare it to.
The views…
The stunning panoramic views can be seen from anywhere on the property, some are 360 degrees. Perched high on a peninsula of land looking down on the coastal lagoon and out over the ocean – the rainforest in the background. Words can’t begin to describe it enough nor can photos do it justice. Certainly not compared to being there to see and experience this unique setting first hand.
The property…
Currently operating as a resort this property has about 7,000 square feet of developed space to host guests and for operations and consists of 8 bungalows, restaurant and outbuildings. The abundant water source comes from a mountain spring and power is provided by a 30KW modern solar system.
The nature…
Peje Perito Lagoon – a literal nursery and habitat for fresh and brackish water fish and marine life that interact with the seasonal tidal flow when the lagoon opens out into the ocean during the rainy season. Along this section of Pacific coast thousands of sea turtles come to nest, laying their eggs high up on the beach during the mating season. You will also see the humpback whales migrating along the shoreline as they make their annual trek around the peninsula up into the Golfo Dulce. You can watch them travel and breach along with dolphins and seabirds right from your balcony!
On land you will see up close and personal the magnificent scarlet Macaws, four species of monkeys and toucans and sloths on a daily basis. Throughout the year there are literally hundreds of bird species and tropical wild mammals including the rare Tapir passing through the property and surrounding lands. Living here and daily life is like what others only see on National Geographic.
The location…
Osa is home of the world famous Corcovado National Park, Costa Rica’s wildest and most spectacular region and one of the most biologically diverse places on earth.
